Our client is a leading environmental and engineering consultancy that is looking for an environmental Liaison Manager to be based on site for a client in the private sector. The main responsibilities will be to manage environmental issues during the detailed design and construction stages of the second phase of development.
You will be required to assist with evaluation of EPC tenders and ensure commitments made in the Environmental Statement are understood and implemented. Other aspects of the role will include ensuring contractors work in accordance with client environmental policy, environmental legislation, project commitments, consent conditions and the terms of the contract. It is essential that you have construction site experience and broad environmental experience, preferably with an ecological background
