Environmental Engineer
Skills & Responsibilities Candidates should have experience of and be able to offer support regarding environmental advice on projects, interpretation of regulations and the preparation of environmental consent applications. Experience of air dispersion analysis, selection and specification of pollution control systems and sustainability issues is equally valuable.
Candidates will be working on environmental studies, preparation of applications for Regulatory permits and will offer environmental advice on projects. Background Typical fields would include: process and manufacturing plant; water management; metallurgical sector; petro-chem industry and power generation. It would be of particular advantage for candidates to be familiar with at least 2 of the following: IPPC, EIA, EMS, EU-ETS, air quality dispersion modelling, effluent treatment or water minimisation. Technical Qualifications BSc or above and CEng MIMechE/MIChemE preferred but we will also consider candidates with BSc who are working towards CEng. Exceptional candidates with HNC/HND will be considered.
