This client is a top 10 consultancy in the UK.

The successful applicant will be responsible for assisting the Basingstoke office in regard to projects involving air quality monitoring and modelling, dust, odour, climate change and environmental permitting (PPC, CCA, ETS etc).

A key element of this role will be the assistance in the compilation of high quality Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Technical Papers. The candidate will also be expected to liaise with clients and regulators and assist in the production of tenders and proposals.

Key Competencies
Skills:
 The successful applicant will need to be well organised, with an aptitude for data handling and manipulation and a good standard of written work and demonstrate a willingness to learn new skills.

Qualifications:
 Relevant degree and ideally a Master's or other post-graduate degree.

Personal Qualities:
 The post requires a highly motivated individual with strong communication and inter-personal skills.
 The role will involve a significant amount of professional development, which will be delivered through a mixture of in-project experience, in-house and external training.
 The applicant would be expected to show commitment and enthusiasm for personal development.

Experience:
Extensive experience is not essential for this role, although knowledge of environmental issues, and specifically air quality, will be required.
