SENIOR ELECTRONICS DEVELOPMENT ENGINEERS
MANUFACTURER OF ELECTRIC MOTORS, JOYSTICKS AND DRIVES
HAMPSHIRE


Our client is now looking to recruit Senior Electronics Development Engineers to be responsible for all aspects of product development from concept through to product release this is a hands on role requiring team leadership qualities. This role will typically involve detailing specifications, circuit design, modelling, breadboard design, liaison with PCB designers, product testing, product approvals, technical documentation and co-ordinating team members.

As Senior Electronics Development Engineer you will Investigate and exploit new electronic technology/components. You will define product specifications and requirements as well as detail project plans. You will also design, model, implement and test new electronic products. Furthermore you will produce schematics, PCB designs, BOMs and control documentation. You will be responsible for managing projects and ensuring their timely completion, as well as for testing products/systems to satisfy performance and approval requirements. You will also produce product documentation and test reports, as well as support Sales and Production activities as required

Educated to degree level with a significant level of industry experience the ideal candidate will have a power electronics and motor control background. Familiarity with embedded C programming would be beneficial. Experience of variable speed drives, motor drive systems, DC/DC converters and inverters would be preferred. A good communicator with the ability to work both individually and to lead/support a multi-disciplined engineering team is important.
