Electronics Development Engineers are now required to cover all aspects of product development from concept through to product release. Typically this role will involve detailing specifications, circuit design, modelling, breadboard design, liaison with PCB designers, product testing, product approvals and technical documentation.
As Electronic Development Engineer you will Interface with customers – turning requirements into specifications and project plans. You will design, implement and test new electronic products. You will also produce schematics, PCB designs, BOMs and control documentation to company requirements. You will take responsibility for managing projects and ensuring their timely completion. You will also test products to satisfy performance and approval requirements as well as produce documentation and test reports to required standards. Furthermore you will support and specify suitable production test equipment.
Educated to degree level with significant industry experience the ideal candidate will have a power electronics and motor control background. The ability to work both individually and in a team is important. Less experienced candidates will be considered if they demonstrate a flair for the position and are able to learn quickly.
