Qualifications:
•HNC Electrical/Electronics or BSC Electrical/Electronics or Mechatronics
•Commissioning or Field Experience preferred
•Knowledge of PLC and Drive Systems
The role involves:
•To undertake the Commissioning/Programming PLC and Drives systems (Siemens, Allen Bradley, Schneider, Servo, vector and motor drives).
•To undertake the testing, maintenance and repair maintenance of the products/system anywhere in the world.
•Provide Technical support for both customers and engineers in the field when it is required both in the UK and Internationally
•To undertake both operator and technical training of the products/systems
• This role will involve worldly field service, commissioning, repair, installation and maintenance work of the system mentioned above, as well as customer relationship building and continued growth in the company.
You will be working for an Industrial Automation company within the Automotive, power and steel industry amongst others. The company is also providing training which takes place in the UK and USA.
