What is the Role?
As an Assistant Bridge Engineer, you will be working in one of the worlds leading Highway and Infrastructure teams. Due to an increase in workload, the company are expanding their teams, and need an assistant level engineer to manage junior staff, and be involved in detailed designs.
Another requirement of this position is to attend on site inspections. You will be required to assess and advise on the strengthening and other requirements of existing bridges.

Who are the likely candidates?
A likely candidate will have a strong academic background and if not already chartered, you will be able to show workable progress towards achieving chartered status. You will need to have over 4 years UK based experience in bridges, including the design of steel and concrete, also, if you can show an understanding in finite element analysis and modern structural strengthening methods, that would be favoured.
