Major Defence Company is currently looking for electronics Development Engineer for the definition, implementation, integration and test of electronic circuits for subsystems used in the company's products.
Responsibilities:-
Definition of circuits/modules and their interfaces together with supporting documentation
Circuit design, analysis and component selection
Schematic capture
Support of the circuit layout, circuit board manufacture and assembly
Initial test of the circuits
Support to firmware and software integration
Preparation of formal test, verification and release documentation
Knowledge and abilities:-
Digital, analogue and power electronics circuit design
Mentor Graphics tools for schematic capture
High safety integrity circuit design (desirable)
Familiarity with Telelogic DOORS requirement management tools (desirable)
Due to the specific nature of this role, candidates holding current SC clearance are highly desirable. Successful candidates who do not hold current clearance shall be requested to undergo National Security Vetting procedures. Please be aware that the Security Vetting process can take several weeks depending on the level required.
