NEW PRODUCT INTRODUCTION PROJECT MANAGER / HAMPSHIRE / £35K-£40K

* In this critical role you will manage product lifecycle from concept through to manufacturing acceptance & interface between Engineering & Supply Chain for New Product Introduction
We are keen to hear from skilled NPI PROJECT MANAGERS with talents as follows:
- Supply Chain purchasing, materials & vendor management exp
- Understanding of current manufacturing processes/techniques in delivering complex electronic assemblies
- Exp of project management supporting a number of different stakeholders during NPI/Transfer phase
- Exposure to project management, planning, purchasing & commercial disciplines within a manufacturing environment
- Able to travel to appropriate manufacturing facilities supporting NPI/Manufacturing projects
The challenges offered by this project management role include:
* Work with Electronic Manufacturing Services partner to schedule proto builds & ensure clean to build status
* Plan materials for volume production
* Set/manage/report Bill of Materials (BoM) & material costs & project expenditure
* Create/maintain accurate cost & part trackers & NPI project plan in conjunction with engineering input
* Set & track budgetary & target costs for purchasing teams to improve on projected costs |
