Skills Required:
HNC Electrical/Electronics or BSC Electrical/Electronics or Mechatronics
Commissioning or Field Experience preferred
Knowledge of PLC and Drive Systems
UK/EU Passport and driving licence essential

The role involves:
The position a dual one in that we want somebody who is primarily a test engineer responsible for testing our systems, but must be willing from time to time to go on site and deal with both breakdowns and commissioning. The person would then either go into the field permanently or take over responsibility of the testing of our equipment pretty well full time.
To undertake the Commissioning/Programming PLC and Drives systems (Siemens, Allen Bradley, Schneider, Servo, vector and motor drives).
To undertake the testing, maintenance and repair maintenance of the products/system anywhere in the world.
Provide Technical support for both customers and engineers in the field when it is required both in the UK and Internationally
To undertake both operator and technical training of the products/systems
This role will involve worldly field service, commissioning, repair, installation and maintenance work of the system mentioned above, as well as customer relationship building and continued growth in the company.

You will be working for an Industrial Automation company within the Automotive, power and steel industry amongst others. The company is also providing training which takes place in the UK and USA.
