Job Description
The BAS Project Manager will have to manage the fulfillment of BAS projects on the BAS jobs, sold in the area, by the company's Sales Engineers. The mission for the successful candidate will be to do BAS project Management for the area.
Responsibilities
Delivering Controls Project on scope, on time, on schedule, in line with company's standards of Quality and Safety Achieving Customer Satisfaction Complying to the company's Standard Controls Project Fulfillment Process (including tools & project documentations) Participating to the project design in coordination with the BAS Project Coordinator. Handing over from Sales to Fulfillment, Customer validation of scope (Submittals), Planning, Coordinating execution and close-out, as well as promoting change orders and additional work during the life cycle of the project. On site project management (customer meetings, company fulfillment resources (BPE, BST) sub supplies, and subcontractors coordination) Checking the Quality on site (Programming, testing and commissioning done by BAS project Engineers & Technicians). Occasional travel for training in Europe
Candidate Profile
Ideally a Degree (Bachelor) in Controls and/or Physics and/or Electronics. some experience within a Controls company, a System-integrator or an HVAC contractor. Experience in HVAC and project management Willing to travel 100% of his/her time within defined geographical area
Skills
Knowledge of the key Controls and HVAC applications such as : Chiller-plants, Boiler-plants, Variable flow (water, air), Pumps, Air-handling units (free-cooling, heat-recovery, dehumidification, indoor air-quality) , Fan-coils (master-slaves) Knowledge of the key BMS applications such as: Optimizer, Area-management, Duty-cycling, Scheduling, Alarming, Reports, Trending, and basic Lighting Network and communication: very good knowledge and practice of LON protocol, good knowledge of TCP/IP networks, BACnet, MODbus, and knowledgeable in other protocols (KNX, Profibus) Microsoft Office package (Word, Excel, Outlook, project) Software used for planning, management, drawings, etc
