We are looking for a Market Development Manager with a good electrical engineering degree (or equivalent) and with additional marketing/business education or training who is interested in exploring and developing new markets.
The company operates in the robust international electrical utility and communications markets and is a medium-sized multi-national business with a flat management structure which will allow the successful candidate for the position of Market Development Manager to create a very interesting and exciting career.
The Market Development Manager will be expected to accelerate and spearhead the growth of the company by developing new markets and product areas in Communications and Utility test
The role would involve researching and analysing the market needs, generating product and channel development proposals and taking these plans to successful implementation. You will work with colleagues in Sales, Engineering and other parts of the Company to deliver the planned results.
The successful candidate for the position of Market Development Manager - Electrical Engineering will therefore need to have skills in both technical and commercial fields as well as being a good influencer and communicator.
Self motivation and good organisation are essential.
The company has seen significant growth over the past few years and aims to accelerate this growth by this new role which will help to spearhead developments.
The role is based at the Company's Head Office and UK factory in Dover and will also require international travel.
