Internal Sales Support Engineer - Mechanical/Electrical background - Energy background of benefit - based Horsham - salary £22 - £25K plus bonus
We are looking for an Internal Sales Support Engineer who is educated to HNC/D level (or equivalent) in Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering or HVAC. Candidates should be Computer Literate with a sound working knowledge of Microsoft Access.
An energy background would be beneficial and would help the progression/promotion of the post holder
Candidates should be able to respond quickly and positively to changing requirements and be able to provide correct information under pressure and on time. Confident and out-going, you should be self-motivated with excellent communication and presentation skills - both verbal and written.
A good understanding of contracts and negotiating T's & C's is a definite requirement as is a high customer service focus
Reporting to the UK Sales Manager the role's main purpose will be to support the sales department, preparing tenders and feasibility studies and to maintain up to date information systems. You would also be required to provide support to Regional Sales Managers and the International sales efforts.
Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities include -
* Achieving personal set targets
* Developing proposals pertaining to the preparation of tenders and feasibility studies.
* Handling all enquiries promptly and efficiently.
* Liaising with all internal and external customers in a professional and polite manner.
* Monitoring, controlling and updating tender and feasibility study enquiries
* Preparing feasibility studies and sales proposals.
* Attending exhibitions and seminars
* Creating and maintaining a sales related technical library
