HV Electrical Design Engineer required to work on projects in West Sussex and the Southampton area. The projects include the design and installation of Combined heat & power (CHP) plant, Conventional heating and cooling plant (boilers, chillers and ancillary HVAC equipment), District heating & cooling pipe infrastructure, Metering and control stations, CHP associated electrical power plant and distribution.
The successful candidate will be required to carry out site surveys, produce electrical system design, produce electrical equipment specification, advise on electrical aspects of the project, manage day to day electrical design activities, prepare tenders and appointment of contractors, liaison with clients and their consultants/representatives, supervise contractors on site, maintain construction budgets and programme, be responsible for the Health & Safety and Quality of installations.
Duration of Contract: 6 months approximately
