Our client in North Kent is a rapidly growing supplier of bespoke electrical control systems and is looking for an enthusiastic individual with good communication skills to join their team.
The position reports into the Managing Director and entails all aspects of the production process from initial concept through project management, detail design of the electrical circuitry and the program, liaising with the client to ensure specifications are met, factory and site testing and commissioning.
This is a senior position within the company and carries with it a great deal of responsibility. Appropriate training will be given where required so that they may maintain their leading edge with both current and new technologies and legislation.
Duties and Responsibilities:-
Detail design of electrical control circuits and control panels using CAD.
PLC programming from an extensive range of manufacturers.
Control system design.
Commissioning at factory and on site.
AC and DC drive systems.
Vision system development and integration.
Electrical power distribution design.
Preparation of operating and service manuals.
Maintenance of quality documents.
Upkeep of H & S system.
Customer callout.
Telephone support.
Modifications to existing customer machines.
Liaising with customers.
Project management.
