The opportunity
My client is currently looking to recruit a talented Transport Planner to their established team. You will be expected to lead the work on individual tasks and various projects and supervise the work of others, as appropriate.
Who we are looking for
- Previous experience in a transport planning consultancy or local authority
- Good IT skills, competent using transport planning software (SATURN, TRIPS, TRANSYT)
- Development planning techniques (including the use of software for junction appraisal such as ARCACY
and PICADY) or transport policy development
- Qualified to Masters level (or equivalent)
- Working towards a chartered status
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
The post may involve travelling to site and, occasionally, abroad, therefore a full driving licence is required.
