The company is a leader in many of the growing end-markets it serves, particularly gas monetisation, having designed and constructed, alone or with joint venture partners, more than half of the world's operating liquefied natural gas (LNG) production capacity over the past 30 years.
Responsible for providing safety related input to design projects including process hazard reviews, hazard consequence modelings, process hazard analyses, risk assessment studies, Safety Integrity Level determinations, and management of changes as related to safety. Under broad direction, interprets, organises, executes, and coordinates assignments. Applies advanced theories, concepts, principles, and processes for an assigned area of responsibility such as a function or product. Job role contributes directly to value creation. Skills are typically acquired through an undergraduate degree in Engineering or equivalent and substantial related experience. This level includes the most technically competent level of engineer in the individual's area of expertise within the engineering discipline. Individuals at this level have all of the attributes of the Technical Advisor position and in addition, are considered the technical specialist for the organisation in the application of advanced theories and concepts. Engineers at this level have published papers and developed patents in their discipline, and are often called upon to make presentations to clients or at national meetings of professional engineering associations. Incumbents at this level will usually hold a certification as a Licensed/Chartered Professional Engineer.
