By working in close partnership with clients, they provide expert advice and strategic solutions to minimise development delays and maximise the commercial returns of any scheme. 
This company work on major commercial, leisure, retail and residential development schemes, while also providing advice on strategic planning, traffic, infrastructure design and transportation matters to local government and public bodies. From feasibility and planning through to the design and implementation stages, this company contributes to large multi-disciplinary teams or acts independently as specialist transport advisors or design engineers.

The Job  

This is a support role reporting to a Senior Associate/Associate. The Senior Engineer will delegate project work to Engineers, Graduate Engineers and Technicians and will be responsible for coaching staff in those positions. In addition the postholders will contribute to maintaining client relations and suggest ideas for improving the company's service.

Skills & Qualifications Required -

·Degree/B.Tec in Civil Engineering or equivalent, membership of relevant Institutions and ideally C.Eng. or I.Eng. status.
·TRANSPORTATION -
·Department of Transport Standards.
·Transport related Government policy documents (e.g. PPG's, Circulars, etc.).
·IHT guidelines for Transport Impact Assessments.
·Processing and management of data.
·DESIGN -
·Department of Transport Standards and Manual of Contract Documents.
·Drainage Design Standards.
·Contract of Site Supervision Procedure.
·I.C.E. Conditions of Contract.
·Processing and management of data.
