Quantity Surveyor
£40-£45k per annum

My client is one of the UK's largest housing contractors, working with the UK's largest landlords, covering over 43,000 housing properties throughout the UK. With the scale of its contracts and projects, you will have the opportunity to develop your career with our very reputable client.
They are currently looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Uxbridge.
Main duties will include:
• Manage the pre-tender process for all Core Works projects.
• Monitor and advise on available budgets.
• Liaison with Senior Risk Manager to assess risk values to be included with estimates.
• Ensure all relevant Commercial processes are adhered to.
• Undertake post-contract QS duties as required, in order to control costs, administer change control and report accordingly.
• Create and maintain a database of supplier and subcontractor rates and prices gained in the process of competitive tendering.
The successful candidate will possess extensive commercial experience in property maintenance, with knowledge of estimating and complex, multi-site pre-contract tendering.
You will also be an experienced Professional, with a Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline and hold a full driving licence.
