Design Construction Co-Ordinator
Aldermaston, Berkshire
Salary up to £40k per annum
Or an hourly rate of up to £45 per hour on a contractual basis.

Responsibilities
• Reports to the Project Manager
• Responsible for Design Management of the Project
• Liaison with Client and Design Team on all matters relating to the Design
• Becomes an integral part of the Design Team
• Manages the Design Process
• Contribute to procurement requirements and scope definition
• Ensure design release dates are met which are critical to supply chain and construction programme demands
• Advise Project Delivery Manager on the performance of the Design Team
• Establish the Project Design Monitoring Procedures
• Overview of complete design to ensure build ability
• Management of Technical queries
• Manage design change and ensure cost management system kept informed
• Review Design Team deliverables and programme
• Establish Document Management regime
• Ensure contractors drawings are issued and reviewed in the relevant timescale
• Establish interface matrix between Trades and manage out interface issues
• Review specifications issued by Design Team
• Contribute to Value Engineering as required
• Contribute to Risk Reviews as required
• Contribute to QA Management of the Project
• Expedite and quality check off site manufacture
• Review Method Statement and submissions
• Establish parameters for health and safety
• Contribute to the management of specialist sub contractor installations
