Introduction:
Our client is a well established company providing both classroom and workshop based training to the automotive industry. Working on behalf of a well known car manufacturer their training team provides knowledge of vehicle systems to engineers. Due to the opening of a new branch, they now have a vacancy for a Technical Trainer.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver technical training on diagnostic repair procedures, both electrical and mechanical to service technicians and technical delegates.
- Develop, update and write technical training material using pre-determined standards.
- Keep up to date with industry related changes in technology and incorporate them into the training.
- Encourage a supportive learning environment promoting participation, encouraging questions and experience sharing.
- Develop a good working relationship with the customer, identifying and communicating any growth opportunities.
- Attend manufacturer’s courses as required
Applicant Requirements:
- A firm background in passing on knowledge or presenting training within an automotive environment.
- Effective communication skills
- Good time management and planning skills
- Team Player
- Flexibility to cover other locations should the need arise.
- The ability to learn new vehicle technologies and sub systems.
- Full UK driving licence.
