Summary of the role

To provide a Quantity Surveying service to Project Managers pre and post contract covering new builds, refurbishment, pre-works, decommissioning and maintenance.

Key accountabilities

• Produce accurate Information seeking guidance of line manager as required.
• To agreed time and programme.

Knowledge, Qualifications, Experience & Skills

• A Chartered Member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors or
• Diploma in Quantity Surveying or
• Degree in Quantity Surveying or
• HNC or equivalent
• A good working knowledge of construction contracts, methods of procurement and site safety. Requires a sound technical knowledge of the industry.
• Quantity surveying experience in private practice or with a main contractor
• Experience of various contract forms.
• Experience of various procurement routes.
• Risk management together with multi-disciplinary team.
• Able to communicate in a clear and effective manner.
• Computer literate particularly in word processing and spreadsheets.
• Ability to make a positive contribution to multi-disciplined integrated teams and to the business.
