Our client supply the Aerospace, Autosport, Defence and other high technology markets both Military and Commercial.
This position will be ideally suited to a candidate who has gained experience of Business Development in both the Military and Commercial markets on an International level.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Understand and analyse the Defence market to ensure quality, selected opportunities for business development are identified and prioritised.
- Establish a healthy external network of key contacts and decision-makers.
- Prepare and deliver compelling propositions which satisfy client's needs.
- Identify all internal and any external resources required to support each bid.
- Actively participate in the Project Management of all bids through each stage of the bid process to successful conclusion.
- Identify commercial risks and specify potential actions to mitigate.
- Negotiate positive outcomes with prospects which result in contract award.
- Actively participate in designing a strategy for successful sales growth.
- Create market awareness of the our clients Engineering business.
- Perform an account management role with assigned clients.
For this position it is essential that you are either already security cleared or can gain security clearance. the basic salary will be £45k - £50k (depending on level of experience) + a car or car allowance (£400/M) and a pension scheme after 1 year.
