A Ground Vehicle Systems Engineer is required to provide military ground vehicle system expertise (in electronics systems such as communication, localization, detection, navigation, data links, displays functions) in support of defence-related business:
1. At business development stages : understand the market and participate to technical proposals
2. At system development stages: requirements capture, system design, system build, system integration, and test & acceptance.
Essential:
Educated to degree level (or equivalent) in a relevant Engineering discipline.
Computer literate and familiar with using normal business and engineering software applications packages.
Must have industry knowledge and experience in the design, development and fielding electronics systems onboard military ground vehicle.
Experience in a Systems Architectural or Systems Engineering role, familiar with the traditional systems engineering lifecycle.
An Engineer with a strong military ground vehicle electronics systems background is required to join our Engineering department.
The successful applicant will be:
Participating into the business development of this market, creating technical proposal.
Specifying, designing, and developing systems.
Involved in the management of the integration and test of those systems in military ground vehicle platforms.
Familiarity with the application of System Engineering within the Development Lifecycle, and use of modern SE CASE tools is essential
