We are currently seeking an experienced CNC Machinist/Operator
Description

Job Requirements
They are now looking to recruit a Craft Machinist to undertake operations in the manufacture and development of productions and trials components within Manufacturing Division. To operate with minimum supervision whilst ensuring that the general provisions of the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 are complied with. The Craft Machinist will be accountable for the production of precision component that meet the required customer specification. This could be defined by sketches or engineering drawings and accompanied by route cards and/or process instructions. The Craft Machinist will also be accountable for safety start up checks of plans and equipment, ensuring that these were documented as required. The successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining a safe, clean and hygienic workplace and contribute to task reviewing, involving customer liaison. You will also be responsible for the design and manufacture of tooling and fixtures as manufacturing aids. The Craft Machinist will have experience in the use of machine tools in the production of precision components and CNC operation and programming experience would be desirable.
Details
The Craft Machinist will be ualified to City & Guilds Part II or Ordinary Certificate or served a recognised engineering apprenticeship. You will be able to operate a full range of machine tools and equipment in a safe, secure and efficient manner and also be able to understand engineering drawings and/or sketches and to comprehend and follow written procedures and/or work instructions associated with the job. The post will require a flexible approach to work and will involve moving to any workshop across our client sites as required, following the appropriate training.
