Introduction:
Our client is a world renowned shipbuilding company serving the defense industry including the Royal Navy.
An ideal opportunity has arisen to join our client as a CAD Draughter within Portsmouth Dockyards on an exciting new project in support of the Royal Navy.
The successful candidates will both possess good inter personal skills, with a pragmatic approach to the customer and be flexible in your approach to work.
Candidate Reuirements:
- Design experience in a shipbuilding or heavy engineering environment
- Candidates should be proficient in the use of Computer Aided Draughting Equipment and have the ability to operate in 3D mode.
- Successful Candidates will be trained in the use of Tribon.
- It is envisaged that successful candidates will have a shipbuilding or heavy engineering background having served a recognised apprenticeship or other suitable training.
- Candidates must be capable of working in a multi disciplined project environment to tight timescales and with limited supervision.
- Hours: 4 day weeks - 6.30am - 4.00pm Monday - Thursday
