My Client was established in 1991 as a Chartered Surveying Company, this partnership has successfully developed and evolved to provide a comprehensive and co-ordinated range of services throughout the United Kingdom. Projects are undertaken throughout the U.K and currently active throughout. As part of the continued growth plan, an exciting opportunity has arisen to become part of a well established and highly motivated multi disciplined company. As a client side Project Manager you will be based in Berkshire or Southampton dependent on preference. You will help to provide a comprehensive range of consultancy services to both public and private sectors in the property and construction industries, also acting as employer’s agent. The client base has grown to encompass such diverse markets as, commercial property development, investment retailing, education, sport and health and residential both private and social. As a result of continued success, 90% of projects and business develop from repeat business. Recent projects have included: a £10 million distribution centre and office development in Basingstoke, an £8 million key worker accommodation private residential build at Gunwarf Quays in Portsmouth. My client is currently working on 4 separate assisted living accommodation projects, in values of 20m - 55m per project. Client portfolio includes but not limited to: Gucci, BAA, Rok, Point, and Microsoft. It is necessary that you have wide ranging experience in all aspects of the construction process and a forward-thinking approach to the management of clients and colleagues. You will be required to carry out most traditional Project Managing duties along with contributing too the management of a department and guiding individuals in your team. In addition to the above responsibilities you will be responsible for the project management of you own projects form inception to completion. Additional daily responsibilities include: full client brief and specifications from client, management of entire construction process from inception to completion, acting as employers agent, and final account handover to client.
