Title: Senior Mechanical Engineer
Salary: Up to £50K depending on level of experience
Location: Surrey
Start Date: ASAP
Our client is an international EPC company based in the UK. They are currently looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer.
Essential skills:
• BSc Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
• A min of 5 years of progressive applicable experience in the design, specification, selection and services of mechanical equipment ( rotating machinery, material handling pressure vessels…) and mechanical systems for buildings (gases, fluids, heating…).
• MS word, Excel proficient
• Experience within the petrochemical, energy, construction industry is a plus.
Main Duties include:
• Plan, schedule and conduct work according to requirements in compliance with the engineering techniques, procedures and criteria.
• Perform work under conventional engineering practice but also under complex features such as conflicting design requirements, unsuitability of conventional materials, and difficult coordination requirements.
• Provide technical guidance to designers and junior mechanical engineers
