My client, a dynamic and cutting edge practice based in newly furbished offices in Horsham, are urgently seeking equally forward thinking individuals to complement a medium sized team working on a varied mix of projects – education, healthcare and commercial.

This company have a solid reputation for delivering design-led solutions and have a number of prestigious design awards to show for their efforts.

They firmly believe in the value of investing in their staff and do so in spades. Almost all of their staff have risen through the ranks to become Directors of the company, having joined the company as Architectural Assistants. With ambitious plans to double in size in the next 5 years, they can offer similar progression and development to both existing and new staff. They will provide financial assistance and professional support to assist you achieve Part III status and can genuinely match the expectations of even the most ambitious individuals.

The duties are diverse and wide-ranging and the role requires someone to have total autonomy for part of a project or work closely with the Project Architect in consultation with the client to ensure that all work programmes are delivered effectively:


 

  • Assist in the design, planning and building regulations and construction drawings of a variety of projects. 
  • Assist in effective communication that takes place with clients, property users and other relevant stakeholders on the delivery of projects. 
  • Demonstrate a commitment to continuing professional development implementing appraisal objectives with agreed personal training and development plans.

Candidate Requirements:

  • RIBA Part II qualified
  • Proficient in the use of AutoCAD.
  • Excellent technical and detailing ability
  • Good communication and presentation skills
