Quantity Surveyor

Up to £24.00 per hour PAYE or £26.75 per hour Ltd
My client, part of the MoD, are looking for experienced and qualified Quantity Surveyors to be join their existing team based in Oxford.
Typical Duties
• Monitor and develop cost models for managing all works, staff and overheads
• Assist in risk analysis of contract conditions, costs, sub-contracts and commercial implications of any changes agreed with clients.
• Provide advice and guidance to Area Commercial Manager in the preparation and presentation of works proposals, reviews and updates
• Assist in development and implementation of commercial risk management procedures
• Assist Area Commercial Manager in preparing dispute avoidance strategy and any dispute resolution
• Maintain and develop systems for the timely reporting of KPIs and financial indicators to highlight possible abatements
• To provide costing and contracts administrative support to Area Commercial Manager
• Any other duties commensurate with the position
You will hold a minimum of HNC in a related subject, or hold sufficient experience to support this.
