This role would suit a Building Surveyor, who will work with an Associate in helping to manage our stock condition survey fieldwork teams (hence countrywide travel and regular staying away can be expected).
Duties will include
The management of teams on site,
The validation of their work,
The collation of data (to be sent to the Data Modeller),
Dealing with any appointment or access queries that cannot be resolved directly by the surveyors,
Quality control and resolution of client questions.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone to learn the ropes from one of the county's most experienced fieldwork staff and ultimately (in a few years) to take over from them. An ideal candidate would be someone that can be moulded to our systems, hence prior experience is not a prerequisite. More important is having a personality that can cope with 'people management', good communication and a willingness to learn.
