Due to expansion and increased turnover, my client has several opportunities within various sectors to supplement and strengthen my clients existing teams.  A well known professional Quantity Surveying and Project Management consultancy - working in Partnership with Hill McGlynn, is currently seeking ambitious cost managers to further promote their strong presence in the construction industry as a market leader.  This well know consultancy turns over in excess of 120 Million globally, offering Project Management and Quantity Surveying services to major blue chip clients within all industry sectors including: Healthcare, PFI, Education, Retail and Commercial.

This is an opportunity to join their flagship central Southampton office, with over 90 staff employed across all sectors. You would become part of a vibrant, active, and supportive team, with the opportunity to become involved in a diverse number of projects.
Role
To lead and deliver in all aspects of quantity surveying from inception of a project through to completion. Dealing with a number of projects at the same time, varying in complexity.

To achieve the highest standards of professional competence and to demonstrate this ability in all dealings with clients and professional contacts, reinforcing the profile of the firm.

To maintain and develop good relationships with clients, take every opportunity to uphold and increase the profile of the firm as a provider of professional, premium quality services to the construction industry.

To assist partners in the development of the project team.

Assist in coaching and appraising of team members of staff. To act as a supervisor for current graduates and work with them to achieving competences for the APC.

To promote a positive attitude within the team, to motivate staff and to assist them achieve the best possible work performance.
