Our client is a leading figure in the provision of electrical motor control and power distribution systems. They design, manufacture, install and commission the systems, managing the entire lifecycle of the process including a comprehensive after sales service and technical support network.
Due to continued growth, they urgently wish to recruit a Commissioning Engineer, to cover predominately the UK, but there may be a requirement to travel overseas as the need arises.
Reporting to the Technical Director, the position is initially based in Bedford, but due to the nature of the role, you will often be travelling straight from home to site. The successful candidate will have Medium Voltage Systems (MV), and commissioning experience. Familiarity with PLC control systems would be useful, commonly used PLCs include: Rockwell Control Logix, SLC500, Siemens S7, GEFanuc and Schneider.
In return my client offers a basic salary of c£30,000 (depending on skills and experience), a fully expensed company car, company bonus, mobile telephone, laptop computer, sick pay and 25 days holiday + statutory bank holidays
