CAD Technician - THE DETAILS
A CAD Technician job has become available with one of the UK's specialist companies, supplying the construction industry with fixings and bespoke components. The company work with Architects and Engineers who specify the products, and it is the job of the Technician to provide the design service to assist the process.
You will be working in a team preparing detailed design and layout drawings of the components. You will be encouraged to manage your own projects and see the project through to completion.
Experience of working within an Architectural or Engineering practice would be beneficial but not essential.
CAD Technician - THE COMPANY
The company is Multi-National, and is well known and a respected industry name. They have been established in the UK since 1979, and are owned by a successful German company, with a group turnover of over €200m. The majority of the business is on Commercial projects.
You will need good communication skills, and a good working knowledge of AutoCAD. Ideally with at least a HNC or ONC in Building or Construction.
