An exciting position has arisen for the position of Senior Proposals Manager for a leading global engineering and construction contractor and power equipment supplier.
The Senior Proposals Managers will operate in a high-profile, deadline-driven, demanding environment. They will be in regular contact with executive management, departmental, project management and other senior personnel in Project Operations.
Working closely with the Sales force, Senior Management, Estimating and Legal/ Commercial Groups, the right candidate will help formulate bidding and execution strategies: and are responsible for the organisation, production and timely delivery of persuasively-written, responsive bids.
The scope of work is varied and covers the complete spectrum of the companies project activities from small studies through Front-End Engineering Designs (FEED) to major Engineer, Procure and Construct (EPC) contracts anywhere in the world.
Responsibilities:-Arrange and supervise the activities of assigned personnel to develop required proposals; arrange participation of all departments and divisions needed for proposal effort.
-Proposal strategy, the type of response, scope of work and main proposal themes for each proposal.
-Issue Proposal Strategy and Summary identifying key aspects of proposal in accordance with standard distribution.
-Keep Manager, Proposals fully informed of progress of proposal. Identify key problem areas as proposal develops. Review problems and proposed solutions with Manager Proposals. Implement agreed recommendations.
-Arrange Client presentations
-In the case of award ensure that the final Contract documents prepared by Commercial Department reflect accurately the agreed position with Client.
Requirements:-Highly motivated, well organised, resourceful and proactive with a tenacious and empowering team orientated style.Well-developed written and verbal communications, interpersonal, influencing and presentation skills.
-Commercial awareness and proven expertise in budgeting, planning, negotiating, organising and financial control.
-Good problem solving abilities with the ability to multi-task and apply a structured approach to complex situations.Flexible approach and able to work under pressure with a can-do attitude and a desire to win.
Salary:-50-55k dependant on experience.
