Sales Managers x 2 - understanding of international technical sales, commercial and project aspects - knowledge of products for the metals industry/aluminium rolling market - location southern England - salary £35K plus car/allowance, relocation etc
We are looking for two sales managers with, ideally, an engineering degree or equivalent qualification or experience who have been working at management level within a sales department.
The sales managers will need to possess a strong technical background with a good understanding of international technical sales, commercial and project aspects and a successful technical sales track record in the flat roll products industry and a good understanding of flat rolled products, processes and equipment
In addition the sales managers will need proven negotiation skills including a track record of closing sales, commercial acumen and good entrepreneurial skills together with the ability to work as part of a team and independently with a high level of commitment, initiative and flexibility
Working in the Aluminium Sales business unit the successful candidates will be responsible for selling mill revamps, autonomous automation and other products into the international aluminium rolling mill market.
Reporting to the General Sales Manager - Revamps, the sdales manager's day to day duties will include:
* Understanding the client's requirements and offering solutions
* Leading and organising the sale including coordinating technical, financial and commercial specialists
* Being actively involved in bid preparation
* Presenting and discussing technical solutions with prospective customers
* Negotiating successful contracts
* Prospecting for new sales opportunities and business worldwide including client cultivation
