Our client is a top 5 UK contractor and has recently been voted as one of the top 100 contractors to work for. They currently work on contracts ranging from £5m - £50m and have recently bid for two tenders in the £60 - £80m region so are really expanding. Our client is part of a very successful group and are currently looking for Intermediate Quantity Surveyors for a £35m new build school project which commences in Jan 2009.

The main duties for the Intermediate Quantity Surveyor will be to work on all pre contract duties and feasibility studies in the London office for the commencement of the Bracknall project. Once the contract begins the Intermediate Quantity Surveyor will be involved with all the post contract duties on the contract and work alongside a Quantity Surveyor which is estimated to be 2 years in duration.

The ideal Intermediate Quantity Surveyor will be from ideally a main contracting background, or from a large fit out company with experience of projects in the region of £10m. Must ideally have a relevant quantity surveying qualification.
