What is the Role?
Our Client requires a Senior Street Lighting Design Engineer for the design and specification (including drawings) of road and amenity electrical systems for various clients. The electrical scheme sizes value between £50,000 and £4,000,000 and may involve feasibility and tender design work. The candidate must have an understanding and application of highway electrical designs, including innovations. Scheme work may also include, inter alia: Highway cross section considerations (safety fence clearances etc.) Power supplies procurement - road lighting, signals and other equipment.
This is a Permanent position based in Kent, paying between £32,000 and £36,000 per annum.

Who are the likely candidates?
The candidate will ideally be a full member of the IET and be trained for carrying out design work in accordance with the Construction Design and Management Regulations.
What Skills do I need?
· A working knowledge of the 16th Edition IEE wiring regulations (BS 7671) · Ability to write various Electrical technical reports · Knowledge of HA standards
