Job Summary
Our Civil Infrastructure design team are a broad based grouping of civil engineers, specialist consultants and construction health and safety specialists. We are looking for high quality engineers to deliver and manage our projects within our specialist maritime infrastructure division.
Requirements
- Chartered Civil Engineer
- Sufficient and appropriate post Chartership experience within a maritime civil engineering design environment.
- In particular experience within ports and harbours, marine terminals and jetties, quay and river walls, rivers and costal work.
- Second degree in Maritime engineering (or equivalent) related work would be advantageous but not essential.
- Knowledge and experience of all stages of the project life cycle - concept, design and specification, implementation, procurement and documentation.
- Background knowledge of the related disciplines necessary to deliver maritime projects would be advantageous - coastal modelling, geotechnical, planning etc.
Responsibilities
- Leading medium sized single and multi discipline projects
- Assist in the preparation and pricing of proposals and bids
- Manage a team of graduate/intermediate engineers including progressing their training towards Chartership.
- Provide technological input and supervise technical input by others within the civil infrastructure discipline
