You will manage the work of a geotechnical team in undertaking geotechnical desk studies and feasibility studies, ground investigation, geotechnical design and expert witness work.
About You The successful candidate will have significant experience of geotechnical design work particularly for work in a railway environment. You will have knowledge of geotechnical software (e.g. for retaining wall design, settlement analysis etc) and Project management experience in connection with the management of geotechnical projects. Qualifications will include a degree in Civil Engineering, MSc in Geotechnical Engineering, soil Mechanics or similar and PTS. You will also need to demonstrate Design management ability, have a good understanding of geotechnical risk and Marketing/promotional and presentational skills.
