Experienced Graduate structural engineer based in Reading
Due to continued growth, an opportunity has arisen for high calibre graduate/chartered structural engineers to join one of the top multi-disciplinary civil and structural engineering consultancies. My client possesses over 25 years experience within engineering design, civil and structural engineering, building services and surveying as well as providing services within the geo-environmental discipline.
The Role
The successful candidates will be chartered or near chartered with a proven track record in building structures.
They will have experience in the structural design of all materials and forms of construction including steelwork, loadbearing masonry, timber frame, foundations and general infrastructure work.
Joining the structural team, the successful individuals will require a sound general understanding of the building process, procurement, design management and control, and interaction with other stakeholders in the construction process.
They will also require the ability to work as part of a team in a pleasant office environment to achieve team goals.
The projects are generally building structures related with varied work across the residential, commercial, industrial and leisure sectors.
The remuneration package is negotiable and dependent on the experience of the candidates. Good written and verbal communication skills and client contact skills will be key elements of the selection process.
