What is the Role?

They are currently recruiting for Assistant Civil / Structural Engineers to join their Subsurface Track Enabling Works team (STEW).
Working as an Assistant STEW Assessment Engineer for this international consultancy, you will have the opportunity to make a difference in transforming the London Underground into a more frequent and reliable service for future generations. Responsibilities will include;
· Support principal inspections of structures
· Assist in writing of approval in principle documents
· Carry out structural assessments
· Assist in writing of inspections reports in accordance with LUL standards

Who are the likely candidates?
The likely candidates will have experience in assessment of rail structures and bridges and ideally have good working knowlodge of the London underground.
What Skills do I need?
· Good understanding of structures and an appreciation of soil structure issues
· Ideally working towards chartership
· Excellent report writing skills
· Good knowlodge of Microsoft Excel and Word
· Skilled time management
· Ability to work as part of a team
