An automotive OEM requires a Sub System Engineer Position Description: Job Title: Powertrain Installation Integration Engineer Job Function/Responsibilities: The Integration Engineer is responsible for integration of specific Powertrain Installation Sub-Systems and technologies. The Integration Engineer reports to the Supervisor Powertrain, Product Development, and cooperates with all relevant PD, Program Office, Manufacturing areas and suppliers located in Europe, Thailand, Japan and China. Skills Required: Hands-on experience engineering/integration experience on automotive Powertrain installation systems: Driveline, Clutch, P/T Mounts, P/T Control, Cooling, Exhaust/Cat, Throttle, AIS, etc. Direct, hands-on experience of related client / PAG Powertrain installation development processes and systems and tools Familiarity with Powertrain / Manual and Automatic Transmission / Vehicle Engineering development processes and systems. Understanding of vehicle attributes / vehicle assessment highly desirable. Working knowledge of related CAE and CAD systems sufficient to direct client internal resources, suppliers and specialist service providers. Ability to negotiate Full PC literacy including use of general office and engineering packages Full driving license required Education Required: Degree level Automotive or Mechanical Engineering. (Although relevant experience will be considered as an alternative) Candidates must have a minimum of HNC/HND in relevant field.
