An automotive OEM requires a Integration Software Engineer Position Description: Acts as coordinating interface for delivery of all software requirements between Powertrain Controls, Electrical Engineering and Manufacturing Plant Functions Develops component data requirements for lead into M1 prototype phase and integrates with electrical engineering. Coordinates delivery of M1 prototype requirements for PT rigs and vehicles. Resolves interface issues arising from rig or vehicle updates during M1 test work. Leads signoff of cross boundary issues up to FEC Integrates signed off PD solutions into launch environment. Key point of contact with Plant End of Line team driving cross plant commonality to ensure minimum calibration/strategy releases are required. Owner of lessons learned for PT input to software change control board. Skills Required: Detail knowledge of AIMS process Detail knowledge of GPDS timing implications on Software system delivery and integration, primarily around Powertrain Controls interactions. Ability to interface with cross functional groups demonstrating issue ownership and resolution Experience of software delivery through early phase to verification prototypes and launch. Ability to operate autonomously between Product Development and Manufacturing. Experience of operating in multi brand organisation in a Project Management led role. Experience Required: Prior knowledge of Major program launches and interfacing between Electrical Engineering, Powertrain Controls, Project Management and Manufacturing Plant. Experience Preferred: Knowledge of Product Development Processes and Systems within a Major OEM. Detailed knowledge of Vehicle and rig prototype build support for a Major multi-phase program. Prior Management experience would be an advantage. Education Required: Minimum ONC/HNC in Mechanical and or Electrical Engineering.
