SENIOR CORE ENGINE INDUCTION SYSTEMS ENGINEER / ESSEX / TO £41K
* Key member of the Global Engine Induction Systems team delivering Air Intake Systems & Manifolds to meet current & future requirements
* Provide technical leadership to supporting current application teams, identify future needs & develop technologies to suit, determine/ensure adherence to best practises & support or lead pursuit of new business opportunities
* Skills sought include:
- Experience delivering sub-systems to Automotive OEMs
- Design principals of & validation/manufacturing techniques for Engine Induction Systems
- Specifying/interpreting the output from CAE analyses (CFD, FEA)
- DFMEA, DVP&R, Robustness & Reliability processes
- G8D or similar concern resolution process
- GD&T principles/application
- Plastic injection & blow moulding/welding techniques
- Automotive testing at component & sub system levels
- Familiar with multiple OEM working practices/processes
- Familiar with industry standard quality systems/techniques
- Experience working with & developing new suppliers
- Use of automotive industry CAD systems; CATIA V4, V5; IDEAS; ProE Wildfire
- Used 1D & 3D CFD codes |
