An automotive Supplier requires a Project Development Engineer Purpose of job Experienced automotive development engineer working in the commercial vehicle (CV) EESE development team, for 2010/2012 programs. The primary role is developing and maintaining the HMI strategy for commercial vehicle driver information sub-systems. The primary role is maintaining and supporting on-going product development for commercial vehicles Roles & Responsibilities Responsible for on-going product development & support for commercial vehicles Experience of automotive electronics and sub-system modules Develop and maintain supporting documentation for internal & external stake holders Sole interface for the vehicle project teams, in the UK, Germany and Turkey Tack quality & warranty analysis, develop recovery plans Vehicle communication network protocols, CAN, LIN etc Functional integration (mux, diagnostics, software etc.) Network architecture and vehicle topology Knowledge of body module development i.e. ACU, ICP, ACP, HEC, Nav, BTVC etc Represent & communicate CV business interests within the core group Vehicle End of Line test process - Knowledge of the test process is very important. Plus any other test carried out during the build operation. Interface with external suppliers Appreciate vehicle development cycle Subsystem and component DVPR using eFDVS Subsystem and component level testing and validation detailed in eFDVS Generation and release of engineering specifications Personal Experience Maintaining a workplan and ensuring program timing is met Project resource planning and cost tracking and reporting Self manage personal workloads Work within a team and as an individual Support management and project team reviews Flexible to the working environment Interact with team members in the UK and Germany Role based in the UK but travel to Germany & Turkey will be required Support vehicle launch on-site as required For the purpose of this role TAC Europe operates as an Employment Agency
