Position: Project Co-ordinator
A Leading Company that design & manufacture electric motors and revolutionary new wheel motors for the automotive and allied industries.
This will be a key role, working to build a revolutionary, motorised golf cart.
Reports to: General Manager
Salary: £40,000 - 45,000 (guide salary) plus benefits – pension, life assurance, private health, relocation if appropriate and share options.
Location: Hampshire
Job description:
To co-ordinate the activities of a multi-disciplined team (of 4) with electronic, software and mechanical skills.
To supervise the product from signed-off prototype to manufacture, through approval testing.
To own the project plan.
To be capable of being hands-on as well as effective in a more strategic co-ordinating and facilitating role covering manufacture to agreed timescales.
Manufacturing will take place in China. Visits to the factory will be necessary.
To liaise with internal design, procurement and manufacturing teams and external suppliers and clients.
Skill & Experience Profile
Prior experience of product development and production.
Working experience with ideally battery-driven motors.
History of project co-ordination and running a small, multi-dsiciplined team.
Prior knowledge of the China market and especially manufacturing.
Ideally degree qualified in a relevant subject.
