Our client is a leading automotive technology business with main offices based in Surrey. On their behalf we are currently recruiting for an Operational Purchasing Professional to support their new Central Purchasing Department within an exciting, dynamic and challenging environment. The company are currently in the initial stages of implementing the new system across the group and primary focus for this role will be to manage the implementation partner ensuring they deliver against the requirements and plan. Other responsibilities will include system management & support, process improvements and management reporting.
To be considered for this position you will have a detailed understanding and experience of the purchase to pay process and had previous in-depth involvement with e-procurement systems (ideally project managing their implementation). Some experience using or implementing e-sourcing and contract management systems would be beneficial as would experience implementing initiatives to reduce transaction costs, ideally p-cards.
This role will demand an analytical thinker with excellent communication skills.
