Position Description: Micro-Hybrid Voltage Quality for power supply to maintain robust vehicle electrical/electronic system functionality. Skills Required: Lead global Voltage Quality design and development for MH vehicles using stop/start technologies ¿ Develop VQ requirements (i.e. warm re-cranking voltage profile) for ECUs/Architecture and ensure robust Voltage Quality compliant with Micro-Hybrid stop/start strategy ¿ Lead communication of requirements to customers of stop/start, including review, acceptance and identification of any noncompliance for escalation and resolution in relation to Voltage Quality ¿ Lead pan-brand specification & DV method development of Voltage Quality for all Micro-Hybrid applications ¿ Lead Voltage Quality DVP, SDS, DV documents and EMC requirements ¿ Lead VQ development with system/program teams (FMEA, RCL, RDM), control plan format (APQP) and resolve quality issues (8D) ¿ Lead VQ validation and issue identification and resolution methodologies ¿ Lead VQ system engineering sign-off ¿ Support long-term strategy to cost-optimised systems for VQ (including Voltage Quality Module; Twin battery approaches with EDS partitioning; Software/OMM power mode management into electronic control modules ¿ Support Voltage Quality integration for MH vehicle program application for all FMC brands in Europe ¿ Support Power electronics / DC to DC conversion development (Voltage Quality Module) ¿ Support common Voltage Quality (VQ) deployment strategy with other Ford Brands ¿ Support/liaise with Micro-Hybrid Core teams and Vehicle Applications teams ¿ Support/liaise with Manufacturing and FCSD ¿ Support diagnostics & EOL test compatibility.
