To provide technical expertise in support of system
engineering for a specific project area and/or functional
discipline ensuring engineering competence and excellence.
Internal and External Relationships
Internal
Provide technical guidance to subordinate/inexperienced
engineers, and participate in on the job training for
engineering staff.
External
Maintain a good working relationship with
customers/subcontractors in particular liaison on engineering
aspects while not giving too much information to
actual/potential competitors.
Qualification and Experience Required for the Job
Technical degree or Diploma with typically up to 5 years in a
responsible engineering role.
Key Figures
Work package value up to 300K.
Main Activities
Interpret system/subsystem architecture design.
Define and design system/subsystems.
Analyse and confirm system, subsystem, or
equipment test results.
Define and specify equipments.
Manage engineering work packages including work
placed on contractors or suppliers and ensure timely
completion of tasks within cost and schedule.
Advanced state of the art systems studies with particular
emphasis on innovative ideas and concepts. |
